Available in 2 MP, the ExSite® Enhanced PTZ 1 Series camera is purpose-built to monitor operations and control processes in hazardous locations with risks of explosion due to the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. This rugged outdoor camera meets stringent explosion proof and dust ignition proof requirements, while complying with international regulatory standards (UL, CSA, ATEX, IECEx, EACEx).
The ExSite® Enhanced PTZ 1 Series uses a pan/tilt/zoom direct drive motion control system that delivers outstanding position memory, making it steady and strong enough to continue operating in hurricane-force winds. This system requires no belts or gears to move the camera, greatly reducing wear and tear and minimizing maintenance.
This explosion proof camera provides operators crisp and clear evidence with up to 30x optical zoom, True Wide Dynamic Range and low-light capabilities for challenging lighting conditions common to hazardous areas.
A vari-zoom IR illuminator is available as an option for applications where low-light performance is essential to operational safety and security.
