VideoXpert Supplemental Terms

This document supplements and does not replace the Pelco Limited Warranty for Hardware Products (pelco​.com/​w​a​r​ranty). This document provides supplemental warranty information applicable only to the specific products listed in the table below.

“KEEP YOUR DRIVE” WARRANTY

Pelco VideoXpert Enterprise Storage 2 systems, VideoXpert Professional Power 2, VideoXpert Professional Power 3, VideoXpert Professional Flex 2, VideoXpert Professional Eco 2, and VideoXpert Professional Eco 3 series recorders include a ​“Keep Your Hard Drive” warranty (KYD Warranty) for the duration of the respective system warranty period. Subject to certain terms and conditions, all hard drives that are covered by a KYD Warranty which are replaced by Pelco or an approved certified technician in connection with a repair under the Pelco Limited Warranty will not be required to be returned to Pelco.

“NEXT BUSINESS DAY ON-SITE SERVICE” LIMITED WARRANTY

It is required that all systems that include ​“Next Business Day On-site Service” (NBD service) be registered with the respective end customer region prior to initiating NBD service. All supported systems sold by Pelco are warranty registered to the United States by default at the time of purchase. For customers outside of the United States, please contact your regional Pelco technical support team to initiate a warranty registration transfer prior to requesting NBD service.

TECHNICIAN DISPATCH

Pelco VideoXpert Enterprise Storage 2 systems, VideoXpert Professional Power 2, VideoXpert Professional Power 3, VideoXpert Professional Flex 2, VideoXpert Professional Eco 2, and VideoXpert Professional Eco 3 series recorders include on-site technical dispatch for the duration of the respective system warranty period. (Subject to the terms of the Pelco Limited Warranty and the limitations set forth in this document, if the end user of the product is located in one of the Supported Countries listed below, a Pelco provided third-party technician may be dispatched for on-site assessments and repairs under the Pelco Limited Warranty for the products listed in this document. For end users not located in one of the Supported Countries listed below, Pelco will not provide (directly or indirectly) on-site assessment and repairs under the Pelco Warranty, however, support may otherwise be available from an in-country third-party service provider. In these circumstances, the end user or Pelco Partner will be responsible for delivery and collection of the products to/​from the in-country third-party service provider’s repair facility (where needed) and for the costs of any labor incurred.

NOT COVERED BY THE PELCO LIMITED WARRANTY

The Pelco Limited Warranty does not cover or otherwise include the following:

• On-site operating system or software (including video management software) support or reinstallation.

• On-site troubleshooting by a Pelco technician or Pelco-provided third-party technician.

• Immediate system (hardware) replacement by Pelco.
  System replacement will be done at the discretion of Pelco Technical Support. It will typically require 3 major component failures (e.g. motherboard, PERC controller, etc.) and 7 – 10 business days to complete.

As described above, the Pelco Limited Warranty and associated support (including on-site support) are not available, or are subject to certain limitations or variances, depending on the end user’s geographic location. On-site warranty service, where available, will be delivered to the end user’s installation site of record.
