As politicians, delegates, visitors – and even protestors – converged on New York City for the Republican National Convention in the fall of 2004, a state-of-the-art Pelco video security system was critical for maintaining the safety and security of all involved. While the convention itself was held at Madison Square Garden, additional venues around the city demanded an increased security presence. And Pelco was there, providing the resources and expertise that such a high-profile event demanded. A network of Pelco camera positioning systems, enterprise-class recording solutions, centralized video management equipment and high-density video matrix systems delivered a flexible yet powerful citywide security capability.
