The Monterrey International Forum is a global event that takes place every four years and promotes issues of global importance such as peace, education, and ecological conservation, among others. From September 20 through December 8, Monterrey, Mexico, hosted the forum in which more than 1,000 events, including conferences, concerts, cultural exhibits and expositions were held for guests from all over the world. Since the planning stage, officials understood the critical role that security would play, as more than 3 million people were expected to participate in the various activities. To achieve this goal, a combination of more than 300 Pelco cameras and digital video recorders were installed throughout the city. Integrator Telecomunicaciones y Servicios del Norte, with the support of Crockett International, designed and installed the video security system for this event, which relied on the Pelco product line.
