What is Pelco Certified Field Training?

To help system integrators offer more value to end-users, Pelco offers end-user-training to the field, often at customer sites. Field training service is available for Pelco’s camera, video security system, IP video, and digital video recorder products. With this service, Pelco Global Training Institute professionals go wherever the training is needed.

Classes

  • Camera Solutions
    2-day course discusses the key features of Pelco’s Spectra®, Esprit®, and IP camera products.
  • Video Security Essentials
    2-day course focuses on the design, application, and installation of a complete video security system.
  • Video Over IP Network
    1-day course provides information on the basics of networking.
  • Pelco DVR Solutions Overview
    2-day course provides participants with a basic working knowledge of Pelco’s entire line of digital video recorders  (DVRs).
  • DX8100 Technical Training
    2-day course provides participants with in-depth technical and product knowledge of the DX8100 line.
  • DX4000 Technical Training
    2-day course provides participants with in-depth technical and product knowledge of the DX4000 Series (DX4000, DX4500, and DX4600).
  • CM9700 Operation
    1-day course covers the components, configuration, and operation of CM9700 systems, including operator/keyboard management, PTZ control, and alarms.
  • Endura System Administrator
    Designed for end users involved in the implementation, support, or day-to-day operation of the Endura® system, this
  • Digital Sentry Operation
    2-day course discusses Digital Sentry® physical architecture, hardware, and software services, explaining the differences between the stand-alone DS XPress and distributed DS Enterprise systems. Students are trained on the Digital Sentry client interface, administration, and configuration.
  • System-Specific Customized Classes
    Students learn about the specific Pelco equipment installed in their system during this 1- to 3-day course. Operation and programming principles are discussed and demonstrated.

Certified Field Training

The Pelco Global Training Institute (PGTI) offers instructor–led courses at two training centers in North America, including Pelco's headquarters in Clovis, CA, and seven training centers located internationally. Because it is not always feasible for students to come to Pelco, Field Trainers with the PGTI offer on-site training at Pelco Rep offices and occasionally at customer sites. PGTI field trainers go wherever the training need is!
