The integration between the STENTOFON AlphaCom audio server and Pelco’s Endura and EnduraXpress platforms links audio and video to a single solution.

The integration works in two main operational modes:

• Video switching under control of the AlphaCom XE audio server. This can occur when an audio link is established, when a guard is scrolling through the pending call list, when the call point detects audio above a predetermined level and/or duration, or even when somebody tries to interfere with the call point.
• Audio switching under control of the Endura or EnduraXpress system. The system can be setup such that no matter which camera a guard is viewing in a specific active channel, he/she can always press the same button to open an audio link to the camera associated with the call point.

Combining these two operational modes with Pelco’s powerful video analytics and the audio handling, detection and messaging capabilities of the AlphaCom XE gives any system powerful tools to provide optimized security.    

The next development which Zenitel is working on is to integrate the audio capabilities of Pelco’s IP cameras, such as Sarix and Spectra IP, into the STENTOFON ALphaCom XE audio server.
