The Datalog 4 Security Management System has been specifically developed to optimise operational efficiency and effectiveness within control room environments, providing a readymade solution for the monitoring and control of local and remote building, fire and security systems.
 
Datalog addresses the inefficiencies associated with the operation of disparate systems within control rooms.  It provides the end user with an integrated software solution that delivers ease of operation, operator accountability, optimum control and a seamless system for responding to events quickly and effectively.

A single operating solution for all systems under control makes it easier for operators to understand events, respond and direct resources in seconds rather than minutes.  Alarms and events can all be clearly and concisely displayed on graphic location plans (with text descriptions and on-line help instructions) and verified by live pre and post video.

DATALOG INTEGRATION WITH THE PELCO ENDURA
Datalog seamlessly integrates with the Pelco Endura DVR.  Datalog uses the Pelco XPortal API version 3.3.0.8 to communicate with the DVR. When an alarm occurs on Datalog up to four cameras can be associated with a circuit and switched to a preset. The alarm event can then be replayed on the Datalog screen to show the pre and post event for video verification of the alarm event.  Historic replay of events is available and also manual camera selection for replay or live.

Datalog camera icons can be used so that cameras can be dragged and dropped from the Datalog maps and dropped on to the video replay window for reviewing recorded images or viewing live cameras.
If PTZ cameras are connected to the DVR then live onscreen PTZ control is available via the Datalog screen.

DATALOG INTEGRATION WITH PELCO CCTV
The Datalog 4 software will operate with the Pelco CM6700, CM6800, CM9740, CM9760 and CM9770 series CCTV matrix when connected via a suitable interface to a Datalog serial port.  Commands are transmitted using ASCII characters via a serial link from the Datalog computer to the Pelco matrix.  For certain Pelco matrix models a Pelco Data Translator is required.

The Datalog will allow the automatic call up upon alarm condition of up to four cameras to preset positions and supports two banks of four monitors for alarm switching.  The Datalog will send the current time/date at program start up and whenever the time is changed on the Datalog PC.
