The Pelco Developers Network is a resource that provides all of the information and tools required to allow developers to create integration solutions to Pelco products. To access these tools you must first register using our online registration form at http://pdn.pelco.com/.

Once registered you will have access to the following API’s, SDK’s, frequently asked questions, sample code, and other development tools.

• Register for access, Navigate to entire PDN site http://pdn.pelco.com/.

IP Camera development resources – All Pelco IP cameras use a common API.

• Access the IP camera API, documentation and sample code   

DVR’s and NVR’s The DX45/4600, DX8100, DigitalSentry and Endura each have their own independent API’s.

• Access all DVR related API’s & SDK’s for DX45/4600, DX8100
• Access Endura related API’s, SDK’s, Documentation, FAQ’s and sample code
• Access DigitalSentry API documentation

Analog Pan Tilt and Zoom devices (Spectra, Esprit, Excite, etc..) – All PTZ and Domes use a common serial RS422 protocol for control.

• Request the Pelco “D” protocol Manual.

Analog Matrix Switching Systems (CM6700, CM6800, CM9700, etc,) – All matrix switching systems us a common RS232/RS422 ASCII protocol for control. For specific product related ASCII commands refer to that products installation manual.
