Why is there a Daylight Saving Time (DST) Issue?

In August 2005 the Energy Policy Act was signed into law, changing the effective dates of daylight saving time (DST) in the United States. Beginning in 2007, DST will start three weeks earlier (2:00 AM on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 AM on the first Sunday in November) than in previous years.

Some Pelco products with built-in time features will be affected by this government-mandated schedule change.

Pelco is committed to helping customers make the transition to the new DST schedule as seamless as possible. Pelco has thoroughly examined its entire product portfolio, identified all products that are affected by the schedule change, and developed software updates and mitigation procedures.
