                                                                                Adaptive Black Stretch (ABS), in the Pelco Camclosure 2 integrated camera system, increases the visibility of subjects in dark areas without degrading image quality in bright areas. In other words, ABS allows security professionals to see details they otherwise wouldn’t be able to see. ABS automatically analyzes the illumination of the scene and adjusts the gamma correction for each area separately. For example, there might be a van slightly visible in a poorly lit area. Adaptive Black Stretch can help the scene appear clearer, and help security professionals get the details they need to monitor the scene without blind spots.
