The Endura Certified Integrator Program

Designing and deploying enterprise-class IP video security solutions requires a special mix of skills and knowledge that span IT and video surveillance. To ensure the success of integrators who wish to sell Endura IP video systems, we offer the Endura Certified Integrator Program. Effective September 2011, we have made some changes to the program, with new training and updated certifications.

Why Certification?

Certification is necessary to provide our customers with the service and expertise that they have come to expect from Pelco by Schneider Electric.

Implementing Endura IP video solutions requires integrators’ sales and technical staff to work directly with customers’ network infrastructure. Endura Certified Integrators must possess a core base of knowledge when making recommendations that may affect these networks.

Our intensive program will provide this understanding, allowing the Endura Certified Integrator the confidence to implement a powerful video security solution that utilizes industry standard IP technologies.

How to Start

Endura certification begins with a simple registration process, in which an Integrator provides information about its experience in IP and video security systems, its ability to provide pre- and post-sales Endura systems support, and staff IT certifications.

Individual Certification Requirements

Once an integration company submits its registration, one or more appointed employees will complete the Endura Certified Professional training program, offered through the Pelco Global Training Institute (PGTI).

Endura Certified Professional

To become an Endura Certified Professional, an individual must complete an Endura Certification course taught by PGTI. Upon completing the course and passing an exam, the individual will receive the designation Endura Certified Professional. Periodic refresher training will be required in order to maintain certified status as the Endura system evolves.

Supplemental Knowledge

Because successful Endura installation requires knowledge of both IT and Video Security, it is important that a candidate for Endura Certified Professional training have a thorough grounding in both of these technical fields. PGTI offers free self-assessment tools that allow candidates to test their knowledge of IT and video security.

Many applicants already have the knowledge base in both IT and Video Security to proceed directly to Endura training. For those applicants who feel they need more background in either or both areas, PGTI offers courses designed to ensure their future success in IP video implementations.

  • Network Fundamentals for Video Security I & II
  • Video Security Fundamentals

Older Endura Certifications

The new Endura Certified Professional replaces the older separate certifications for individuals – Pelco Certified System Designer (PCSD) and Pelco Certified System Technician (PCST). Individuals who hold these certifications for Endura 2.0 or later are automatically granted status as Endura Certified Professionals, in recognition of their knowledge and achievement.
