Downloading and Installing Software Updates for the DVR5100
INTRODUCTION
Read through the instructions in this document before you update the software on the DVR5100 Series Digital Video Recorders. For ease use, it is recommended that you print these instructions.
DOWNLOADING THE SOFTWARE UPDATE FILE
1. Click the link below to login and download the Software Updates for the DVR5100. A login page appears.
2. Enter your login information and Click Login. If you do not have a User ID and Password, select Register a New User and complete the application. An email will be sent to your email address with a link to activate your profile.
3. Click the Plus sign (+) next to DVR5100 to expose the desired update files. (IMPORTANT NOTE: Upgrades to Version 1.5 must be started from Version 1.4.0070. If your system has a previous version of the software, update first to Version 1.4.0070 and then proceed with your update to Version 1.5.)
4. Select Readme to understand the scope of the update(s).
5. Click to Download Instructions for the given update. Ensure you understand and follow the steps involved.

The DVR5100 can be integrated into a fully distributed Endura® system, allowing for centralized monitoring and
management in a scalable and expandable IP surveillance system. The Endura Enabled configuration utility is available to Endura Certified Partners only. If you are certified and require this software, please login to our Endura Partner Portal to register your DVR5100s and obtain the software.
