Issue
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 changes the effective dates of DST in the United States, Canada, and selected other locations. Beginning in March 2007, DST in affected geographical regions will begin three weeks earlier (2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March) and will end one week later (2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November) than in previous years.

Resolution
DST schedule has always been set manually in the DX2000. Users in regions affected by the new DST schedule should take note of the changed effective dates and manually adjust the DST schedule on their DX2000 appropriately. Otherwise, there is no change to the normal mode of operation for DX2000 users.

Instructions
Below are links to the resources the user will need to make their DX2000 comply with the new DST Schedule.

• Click here to download a printable version of the DX2000 instructions.

• Click here to refer to the DX2000 manual for instructions on setting time manually.
