Pelco Mobile Product Showcase On the Move

Clovis, CA (February 22, 2005) – As the Pelco Mobile Product Showcase rolls toward its second birthday, the miles it has traveled and the success stories told are vast. What began as a way to offer the Pelco experience to those who couldn’t travel to Pelco headquarters in Clovis, California, has become a must-see in every city it visits. The MPS got its start under the neon lights of Las Vegas as it was unveiled to rave reviews at the 2003 ISC West trade show – and it has attracted a great deal of interest ever since. “This is what I would have expected from Pelco; first class operation,” said David Dobbins, Consultant, A&E Firm, Black & Veatch Inc.

The Mobile Product Showcase is a cross-country, traveling mini-Pelco on wheels. Staffed by experts in video security, the MPS is always on the move – visiting end users, dealers, distributors, integrators, consultants and government entities across the nation. Its goal is to increase customer familiarity with Pelco, our products, and our commitment to fanatical customer service when a trip to Pelco headquarters is not feasible. As the MPS tours cross-country it is ideal for hands-on-sales presentations, product-training sessions, open house events, and trade shows. It’s an exciting and new way to introduce Pelco’s video security technology solutions – right at your front door.

In fact, the response from the field has been so positively overwhelming that Pelco added two additional trucks in 2004. Now with a fleet of three, the Western, Central, and Eastern Regions of the United States are well covered, including Canada. Efforts are also under consideration to launch a European Mobile Product Showcase to accommodate our international customers.

To date, the MPS has logged more than 200,000 miles. From California to Canada to Florida – and all points in between – it has been an incredible sales and training tool.
