Scott Schafer Joins Pelco as Senior Vice President, Marketing and North America Sales

Clovis, CA (October 20, 2004) — It is with great pleasure that Pelco announces the addition of Scott Schafer to a newly created position as its Senior Vice President, Marketing and North America Sales. In this role, Schafer is responsible for marketing of Pelco products and solutions and sales to customers through Pelco’s global, national and regional resellers, including systems integrators, dealers, value added resellers, distributors and manufacturer representatives.

Most recently, Schafer was the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service for the Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a market leader in providing information technology, software, services, and integrated solutions to the automotive industry.

Schafer began his extensive sales and marketing career with NCR Corporation, a leading global technology company. During his 19 years at NCR, Schafer held numerous global general management, sales leadership and marketing management positions, including Vice President, Worldwide Networking and High Availability Services, Vice President of Product and Channel Marketing in its Computer Systems Division, Vice President of National Computer Reseller Sales, and Area Vice President for Sales to Fortune 500 companies. Schafer earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the Ohio State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Capital University.
