Pelco’s Spectra III Thrives Under Pressure
Clovis, CA (February 20, 2004) – The pressure is on the
competition as Pelco introduces the Nitrogen Pressurized Spectra III Series
Positioning System. Designed to provide 100-percent protection of the camera,
lens and electrical components from the constant punishment of vehicle exhaust,
salt, grit, water and other airborne particulates, Pressurized Spectra III
provides effective images, day in and day out. With Pressurized Spectra III,
you now have a clear solution to your most-demanding applications.
Pressurized Spectra III’s all-316L Stainless Steel construction
ensures a high resistance to corrosion, enabling its effective and reliable
operation in some of the harshest environmental conditions. And thanks to its
exclusive V-Band Seal Design, Pressurized Spectra III is an easy to install
dome system that can be sealed and pressurized prior to field installation.
Further, Pressurized Spectra III features on-screen, real-time
reporting of the dome’s internal pressure differential to the outside in
addition to temperature and dew point readings. With these metrics, optimal
system performance is ensured. By providing constant measurements of the
pressurized dome’s environment – and alerts when pressure is low – routine
maintenance can be scheduled and emergency visits dramatically reduced.
All the features of Spectra III and Spectra III SE, including
Window Blanking, Wide Dynamic Range capabilities, and built-in back box memory
are available in this pressurized version. Its industry-leading integrated
camera optics package features LowLight technology for clear images after the
sun goes down. And the integrated lens with digital zoom yields images that
rival all but the most expensive traditional zoom lenses.
Include the Pelco Remote Data Port and Remote Monitor Kit in all
your installations and gain invaluable ground-level access to your Pressurized
Spectra III Dome System. Such “bottom-of-the-pole” access offers an
unprecedented level of control to verify camera settings and video output as
well as to update system software without ever needing, for example, a lane
closure or lift truck.
Combine all these features with capabilities allowing all camera
setup functions to be performed from wherever your control site is located, and
the Pelco Nitrogen Pressurized Spectra III represents the standard to which all
other systems will be compared.
