Pelco Opens new Asia Pacific Distribution Center near Singapore Airport

Clovis, CA (July 7, 2003) – To better serve its Asia Pacific customers, Pelco is proud to announce the opening of its new 20,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center in Singapore. Similar to its European and Canadian counterparts, Pelco’s vision for the Asia Pacific region falls staunchly in line with that of everything Pelco – namely providing its customers in the region with first-class products and the same excellent support and 100-percent customer satisfaction that has been experienced for years by its domestic customers in the States.

Located near the Singapore Airport, the Pelco Asia Pacific Distribution Center will service customers from as far north as China and Korea, all the way to Australia/New Zealand, including the South Asian subcontinent region, providing even more of its international customers with Pelco’s renowned level of service, support, and delivery. The massive 20,000 sq. ft. facility will house all of the popular Pelco products sold in the Asia Pacific Region and will dramatically reduce delivery cost and shipping time. A shipment by boat from California to India currently can take up to four weeks. With the new Singapore Center, the same shipment will take only one week. A 75-percent reduction in waiting time means meeting and exceeding project deadlines – one more step in ensuring fanatical customer service.

Additionally, air shipping times and fees will be significantly reduced since shipments will now originate out of Singapore rather than California. Furthermore, the Pelco Asia Pacific Service Centers will be able to receive replacements faster, so systems can be up and running sooner because local stock now will be on hand.
