With Pelco’s New Indoor Camclosure Camera Dome System—It Just Doesn’t Get Any
Easier
Clovis, California (January 16, 2003) – It’s easy. It’s quick.
It saves time–The Pelco ICS090 series integrated camera system with its
versatile mounting capabilities and lens-positioning system, and its wide
variety of camera/lens optics packages, takes all the guesswork out of
selecting the “just-right” unit for your application.
The ICS090 system is the first of an impressive new generation
of Pelco Camclosures. Designed as a cost-effective small indoor dome system,
this versatile unit can be mounted in a number of ways with its uniquely
engineered surface-mounting ring. With its inventive 3-axis camera and
lens-positioning system, the ICS090 is designed to look in virtually any
direction. It’s so easy to install and adjust with its on-site camera setup
capabilities, that installing technicians won’t want to work with anything
else.
Easily achieve surface, recessed, ceiling or wall mounting with
this one complete unit. For surface mounting, just leave the surface-mounting
ring in tacked. For recessed mounting simply remove the surface-mounting ring,
allowing the back box to be easily installed. If the application calls for
recessed mounting and a little extra support, just invert the surface-mounting
ring and install over the back box for extra secure support.
No longer will an installing technician need to consider the
pre-placement of the camera before installation. Pelco’s uniquely engineered
3-axis camera and lens-positioning system is capable of 360 degrees of pan, 140
degrees of tilt and 360 degrees of rotation, achieving optimum camera rotation
and placement for the perfect view, every time.
On-site setup can be easily obtained with the accessible service
connector. Located next to the 3-axis camera positioning system, this allows
camera adjustments without interference from the service cable. This optional
service cable plugs directly into the service connector and the other end
connects to any standard BNC connector for on-site monitor setup.
The ICS090 also offers a wide range of optics packages from
high-resolution color with varifocal auto iris and fixed lens to standard color
and monochrome optics packages with fixed lens. No more multiple trips up the
ladder or lift. In fact, a second technician may no longer be needed to assist
with setup. Whether it’s reducing the guesswork out of product selection,
reducing camera pre-positioning prior to installation, or reducing installation
time itself, each cost-effective measure has been factored into the innovative
