Pelco VMX200 Video Management System Brings New Dimension to Video Security
Clovis, CA (March 5, 2002) – Pelco brings a new dimension of user interface and
control to video security with its VMX200 Video Management System. The VMX200
is unique among similar products because of its interactive system schematic
that simplifies system setup, giving the video security industry a product
specifically designed to provide a graphical port for Pelco video devices –
allowing a user to become an expert operator within just a few short minutes!
This technology is relatively new to the security industry because it utilizes a
Windows based interface for system control, replacing keyboards, front panel
controls, and the need to remember camera numbers and locations with an
intuitive mouse driven interface. It uses a simple mapping configuration and a
visual interface to perform all switch and camera control functions,
simplifying and speeding response to security events. And because of this
visual interface, very little training is required. It makes operation easy and
natural with its drag and drop capabilities.
Applications for this product are numerous including use within incarceration
facilities, casinos, schools, traffic control, and in many other small to large
applications.
Pelco is a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of video
security systems and equipment. With a prestigious history of offering
high-quality products, innovative technologies, and Guaranteed 100% Customer
Satisfaction, Pelco has become the most sought after product supplier in the
video security industry.
