For Immediate Release
Pelco Now Offers DX2000 Series Remote-Operation Digital Video Recorder
Clovis, CA (March 5, 2002) – Pelco is pleased to offer the DX2000 Series Digital
Video Recorder. Built on a reliable and cost-effective non-PC architecture,
this DVR features interfaces to cash registers, ATM machines, and other devices
for data and video capture and retrieval. The DX2000 is a fully remote managed
and accessed DVR, eliminating unnecessary costs for applications not requiring
on-site interaction.
The built-in capacity for up to 640GB of hard disk space, coupled with the
extremely flexible record set-up that can accommodate over 1,000 schedules for
recording, provides a maximum of price vs. performance benefits. Retrieval of
video based on data, in addition to the traditional time/date search, includes
a host of options such as transaction numbers, text-strings, and qualifiers
such as currency amounts.
While perfect for ATM and cash register connections, the versatility of the data
interface allows connection with many other devices such as alarms, access
control, biometrics, or any other device capable of sharing data.
The DX2000 is unique in providing a centrally managed approach to video security
systems and the total integration of other data sharing devices. Another unique
feature is the recording system that allows video storage for different lengths
of time depending on video type. While interfacing between data and video
equipment has been in use for years, no one else is offering as many features
or as tightly knit connection between the two devices. The result is a
tremendous amount of time savings in administration and usage of your video
security system.
Pelco is a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of video
security systems and equipment. With a prestigious history of offering
high-quality products, innovative technologies, and Guaranteed 100% Customer
Satisfaction, Pelco has become the most sought after product supplier in the
