Pelco Introduces Pressurized Optics Cartridge
Clovis, CA (October 4, 2001) - Pelco's award-winning Esprit Series Integrated
Camera Positioning System is now available with a pressurized optics cartridge.
The Pressurized System is designed to protect the camera optics and electronics
from moisture and airborne contaminants. The standard system features a
receiver, pan and tilt enclosure. The Pressurized Integrated Optics Cartridge
(IOC) is an option. The IOC system features an auto focus camera, lens, heater,
and sensors in a small, self-contained, sealed unit.
"Esprit already provides a high degree of weather resistance, but with the new
Pressurized IOC, your camera optics will receive the ultimate protection,"

In addition to the ultimate protection of the camera optics and electronics,
Esprit IOC includes internal sensors which send "Alert" messages if changes in
pressure, temperature, and humidity go beyond desired limits. "The sensors are
a great feature because they benefit users by their not having to constantly
monitor the camera, and therefore, there are lower maintenance cost," stated
Ellenberger.
