Clovis, CA (March 19, 2001) - Pelco's DX3000 Series Digital Video Recorder (DVR)
is a high-quality system that combines the functions of a recorder and
multiplexer into one unit. And, if you're looking for high-resolution pictures
from a non PC-based DVR, then the DX3000 is your choice.
The DX3000 has a built-in, large-volume 30 or 60 GB hard drive for both high
reliability and high-speed operation. A maximum of 2.4 million frames, (30 GB)
or 4.8 million frames (60 GB), can be recorded consecutively for up to 5 days.
The recorder features versatile multiplexer functions that allow live and
recorded images from the 9 camera inputs to be shown on the monitor in
single-camera, 4 camera, or 9 camera displays.
For applications requiring long-term storage of recorded images, the DX3000 is
capable of using optional tape backup to store video for virtually an unlimited
amount of time. Video compression produces high-resolution playback with more
than 450 horizontal lines. The DX3000 offers 5 user-selectable image quality
settings. Another feature is its versatile high-speed search operations which
includes time and date, index, skip, and alarm list searching. In addition, the
9-camera models require PelcoNet and the 16-camera models have an Ethernet port
to connect the DVR to a network for viewing from a remote location.
Other features of the DX3000 includes playback by date, time, and camera, audio
recording, and recognition of recorded images that have been altered. The
